Government Schools Not Underfunded, Need To Stop Overspending

Many programs have been mandated in government schools through a process that caters to special interests and career politicians, improving money-making opportunities for government school teachers but doing nothing for students. Mandates inflate the upper end of the salary structure, driving the cost of running government school systems much higher than that of private schools. Most studies show no correlation at all between education funding level and academic achievement.
