CHICAGO–Tax Accountability, the political action arm of National Taxpayers United of Illinois, has endorsed Kankakee physician Bob Marshall for US Senate in the February 2, 2010, Democratic primary. Marshall is the only Democrat running for a US Senate seat to sign Tax Accountability’s Taxpayer Protection Plan, in which he pledged to “oppose any and all efforts to increase federal and state taxes.”
If you plan to vote in the Democratic primary, remember Marshall’s name will appear at the top of the ballot statewide.
CHICAGO—Seven candidates have been confirmed for the second Illinois gubernatorial debate to be hosted by The Free & Equal Elections Foundation. The event will be co-sponsored by the University of Chicago Students For A Free Society.
